Why should I go to London?

To experience something new, to broaden your horizons, to see things you’ve never seen before… the reasons are endless! Study abroad is the adventure-of-a-lifetime. On this trip with Professor Engle, you will make new friends, try new foods, be immersed in history, and leave with unforgettable memories. If you have the opportunity to study abroad, go for it!  You will not regret it.

Can I really receive college credit for studying abroad?

Yes! This 4-credit class satisfies the General Education requirement in the Knowledge area of Western Civilization or Global Perspective, but not both. It also satisfies the Formal Reasoning attribute.

How long is the flight to London?

Usually, students take the overnight flight to London, which is about 7.5 hours long.

How will we get around the city?

Professor Engle arranges transportation for all group activities. Get ready to throw your hands up on the upper deck of the red double-decker bus, ride the Tube, and take a few trains to the countryside.

Can I extend my trip in Europe and go to other countries as well?

Certainly! Many students choose to extend their study abroad trip beyond our class. Following our London fun, students have jetted off to Scotland, France, and Spain. Check out this section of “Freetime Ideas” for more information!
